Elmgreen & Dragset: On Camouflaging Artwork Areas


When Michael Elmgreen and Ingar Dragset first entered the artwork world within the early Nineties, they had been met with quite a few conventions and behavioral codes that they perceived as “just a little bit disappointing.” A realization that marked the start of the duo’s subversive journey by the artwork world, reworking museums and galleries across the globe into surprising and barely unsettling environments. In the course of the early days of summer season, the 2 artists welcomed Ignant into their studio and talked about how they transformed areas to problem the established order.
